Problem:
Many people think that simply posting on social media is enough to market their business, but this isn't true. Random content does not drive sales, even if it gets engagement. Without a strategic plan to guide potential customers through a marketing funnel, posting alone fails to achieve business goals.
Solution:
Effective social media marketing involves targeted content for each stage of the marketing funnel. At the top, use short-form videos and educational posts to attract a broad audience. In the middle, create content that subtly mentions your products and promotes webinars and ebooks. At the bottom, use live sessions to pitch products in an educational way and announce special promotions to convert prospects into customers.
Lesson:
The key lesson is that social media marketing needs a strategic approach. Content should be crafted to lead potential customers through the marketing funnel, ensuring that posts attract attention, engage users, and drive sales. Aligning social media efforts with a well-defined strategy is crucial for achieving business success.
How will you adjust your social media strategy to better guide your audience through your marketing funnel?
Posting is not marketing.
People fall into this trap that if they post content on the social web, they are marketing.
That’s the furthest thing from the truth.

2/. How We Read (Or Don’t Read) Online:
Online reading habits show that most users only skim content, with studies indicating that people read just 20-30% of text on a web page and typically spend about 25 seconds per page. This selective reading often follows an F-shaped pattern, starting with the top and left side of the page. The rise of digital distractions, such as links, ads, and navigation tools, further fragments readers' attention. Despite these challenges, producing meaningful and engaging content remains crucial, as it can still captivate and provoke thought among readers, encouraging deeper interaction even within brief encounters.
